Brioche French Toast
Thick-cut brioche soaked in vanilla custard, pan-fried to a golden crust, served with maple syrup.

Ingredients
- 8 thick brioche slices
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Butter for frying
- Maple syrup and icing sugar to serve

Whisk eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a shallow dish.

Dip each brioche slice and let soak 30 seconds per side.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook slices 2-3 minutes per side until deep golden.

Dust with icing sugar and serve with warm maple syrup.
